Naya Nichols

Naya has been a part of BDA for 12 seasons and is excited to begin her first season as an instructor. Over the years, she has grown as both a dancer and a leader, spending the past three seasons as a Leader in Training (LIT).

During her time at BDA, she has had the opportunity to be part of the Bella Beats Dance Company Showcase Team, performing on a Disneyland stage and in a Main Street USA Parade. She has also been a member of the Bella Beats Dance Company Performance Team, performing at community events and fundraisers throughout Yellowknife and attending conventions across Western Canada. In addition, Naya has spent two seasons as a member of the Bella Beats Competition Team, where she trained and performed at dance competitions across Alberta and British Columbia.

Naya is eager to give back by helping the next generation of dancers. Her goal is to create a positive environment where every dancer feels welcome, supported, heard, and encouraged to grow. Whether a student takes one class a week for the experience or trains 15+ hours a week to compete, she wants them to know their dance journey is valuable. She wants her students to discover how much fun dance can be, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and find themselves through movement.
