B.A. in Communications & Media Studies (with distinction) with an Embedded Certificate in Entrepreneurial Thinking
Janessa’s dance journey started at Bella Dance Academy in 2007, and she continued to dance at the studio until she graduated high school in 2022. During her time dancing at BDA, Janessa was a member of the Bella Beats Dance Company Performance Team for eight seasons and a Competition Team member for four. Throughout her time at the studio, she also completed two years of BDA’s Leader in Training Program, where she then went on to teach her own classes from 2019 - 2022.
In 2020, Janessa began her role as BDA’s Social Media and Marketing Coordinator. She continued this role while working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Calgary, where she recently graduated with distinction.
